Senior Full-Stack Developer
Build and maintain modern, high-performance web applications using React, Next.js, and Node.js for a diverse portfolio of SMB clients.
About the Role
As a Senior Full-Stack Developer at Master Technology Labs, you will take ownership of end-to-end development for client projects -- from initial architecture decisions through to production deployment and iteration. You will work directly with our project leads and designers to translate business requirements into clean, maintainable, and performant code. We expect you to use AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, v0, etc.) as a standard part of your workflow to deliver faster and with higher quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate wireframes and requirements into functional interfaces
- Implement responsive, accessible, SEO-optimised front-end experiences with modern CSS and component libraries
- Design and build RESTful and GraphQL APIs with robust error handling and authentication
- Optimise application performance through code splitting, caching strategies, and database query tuning
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code that follows established conventions
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery without sacrificing quality
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience building production web applications with React and Node.js
- Strong command of TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and CSS frameworks (Tailwind preferred)
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs (Prisma, Drizzle)
- Familiarity with deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (Vercel, AWS, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage your own time, and deliver on deadlines
- Active use of AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) in your development workflow

This is a part-time, remote, output-based position. Compensation is directly tied to the quality and impact of your deliverables -- there is no fixed hourly rate.
